SpellFest 2025 A Corporate Festival to Remember at Alcott
As the demand for unique and memorable corporate events continues to grow, more companies are seeking creative ways to bring their teams together, celebrate achievements and strengthen workplace culture. At Alcott, we have seen first hand how transformative a well designed company event can be. Our venue offers endless flexibility, wide open space and a truly blank canvas that allows organisations to build experiences that reflect their brand and values. One of the standout examples of this happened in the summer of 2025 when the team at Speller Metcalfe hosted their incredible corporate festival, SpellFest.
SpellFest was created to celebrate the company’s 30 year anniversary, and it became one of the most vibrant and joyful events we have ever welcomed to Alcott. With more than 450 attendees made up of employees and their families, it brought together people of all ages for a day of entertainment, connection and celebration. The aim was clear, to create a full scale festival experience that felt exciting, inclusive and most of all, memorable.
From the moment planning began nine months earlier, the vision for SpellFest was ambitious yet achievable thanks to the collaborative approach taken by the Speller Metcalfe team. They wanted to host something that went beyond a traditional corporate day out. They wanted a space where colleagues could unwind, families could enjoy time together and everyone could share in the company’s milestone in a relaxed and beautiful setting. Alcott’s expansive fields, stunning countryside backdrop and easy access for suppliers, campers and vehicles made it an ideal home for the event.
The festival offered something for everyone. Street food vendors lined the event space, providing a mix of flavours and cuisines that guests could enjoy throughout the day. Five live bands created a true festival atmosphere, filling the site with music and energy. Children enjoyed a packed schedule of entertainment including inflatables, pottery workshops, face painting and a wide range of engaging activities that kept them entertained for hours. Adults were just as spoiled for choice with areas to relax, connect and soak up the sunshine.
One of the standout features of SpellFest was the camping village that formed naturally as guests arrived with tents, vans and motorhomes. Colleagues and families extended their experience by staying overnight, giving the event an added layer of community and making it feel like a real festival weekend. This element helped reinforce the company’s commitment to creating shared experiences that go beyond the workplace.
Speller Metcalfe shared some truly heart warming feedback about their event at Alcott:
Speller Metcalfe – SpellFest Feedback for Alcott Events
“We chose Alcott Events to host our 30 year anniversary festival for staff and their families, and it was the perfect choice. This was one of the only venues we found that could host our numbers of 450. The field was in such an ideal location with stunning views, and the site itself was beautifully maintained with easy access for parking, campers and suppliers.
Lucy from Alcott was brilliant to work with over the nine months of planning. She was always supportive, helped us organise some of our suppliers, and provided a fantastic security team who made sure everything ran smoothly. With five bands, street food, entertainment and tents, it really was a full festival and the whole day went off without a hitch.
It was such a special celebration for our team, and we could not have been happier with how it all came together. We would wholeheartedly recommend Alcott Events to anyone looking for a truly memorable venue.”
SpellFest was a perfect example of what corporate events can be when creativity, teamwork and the right space come together. We were honoured to host such a vibrant celebration and proud to play a part in the memories made that day. If your company is dreaming of hosting a festival style event, a family fun day or a large scale corporate celebration, Alcott provides the space and support to make it happen.
